How Air Partner’s JetCard Program Changed Private Aviation

Private jet travel, once an exclusive for the wealthy, has become increasingly accessible due to innovative programs and flexible membership options.

Among the leaders in this space is Air Partner, whose JetCard program has become a cornerstone in private aviation. Founded in 1961, Air Partner launched its JetCard program in 2008, establishing one of the longest-running and most successful private aviation memberships in the market.

How Air Partner’s JetCard Program Changed Private Aviation

The Evolution of Air Partner’s JetCard Program

In a market teeming with options—from fractional ownership to charter services and full ownership—selecting the right program can be daunting.

The introduction of the JetCard by Air Partner provided a new, streamlined way for individuals to enjoy private aviation without the complexities and commitments associated with other models.

The JetCard Advantage

Air Partner’s JetCard works on a simple premise: pre-purchasing flight hours in 25-hour blocks, providing guaranteed access to a fleet of high-quality jets.

This flexibility ensures that members only pay for the hours they fly, with no hidden charges or expiry dates.

Members have access to a range of aircraft, from light cabin jets like the Phenom 300 and Pilatus PC-24 to larger, global-category jets like the Gulfstream G650.

The Hours

Ty Smith, Director of JetCard UK at Air Partner, emphasizes that the JetCard program bridges the gap between fractional ownership and charter services. “The JetCard just takes all of those headaches away from our members,” Smith explains.

Unlike fractional ownership, JetCard members are not locked into long-term contracts and can upgrade or downgrade aircraft categories without incurring premium rates.

Smith, who has been with Air Partner for 12 years, notes that the program’s success is largely due to its personalized and seamless experience. Having started in sales, Smith understands the needs and preferences of JetCard members.

The Future of Air Partner’s JetCard program

Air Partner’s JetCard program has significantly impacted the private aviation market by offering a flexible, cost-effective alternative to traditional ownership and charter models.

With its focus on quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction, the JetCard remains a preferred choice for discerning travelers.
