The helicopter segment alone saw orders surge by 28%, totaling €3.6 billion, and revenues grew by 13%, reaching €2.43 billion.
The AW189 helicopter, known for its versatility and reliability, contributed significantly. Key contracts included 20 AW139 units for The Helicopter Company in Saudi Arabia, targeting emergency medical and search-and-rescue missions. Other notable orders for Leonardo helicopters came from Bristow and Equinor, which will use these aircraft in the energy sector.
