La Guardia Airport has officially ranked best in the USA, earning top honors from Forbes Travel Guide. Once known as one of the least desirable airports in the country, La Guardia’s transformation is nothing short of remarkable.
After undergoing an $8 billion renovation, it has emerged as the nation’s premier airport, redefining the travel experience.
Forbes Travel Guide awarded La Guardia the top spot after conducting an exclusive survey with 5,000 of the most well-traveled professionals in the hospitality industry. The guide recognized the airport’s remarkable improvements, particularly in Delta’s newly finished Terminal C. This terminal features hands-free bag drops, Digital ID screening, and curbside check-in to streamline the passenger experience.
Among the new dining and shopping options in Terminal C are Prime Steakhouse, Chuko Ramen, and a range of luxury brands like MAC and Le Labo. Delta passengers can also enjoy a revamped security process with 36 full-service check-in counters and five baggage carousels. Art lovers will appreciate the new art installations curated by the Queens Museum.
