Luxury aviation company Million Air is set to transform its Austin-Bergstrom International Airport facilities through a major $120.5 million expansion, aiming to meet the increasing demand for private jet services.
The expansion project, funded through the Public Finance Authority (PFA) municipal bonds, will add three new hangars, two luxury lounges, and over 535,000 square feet of additional ramp space for aircraft. Million Air, renowned for catering to high-net-worth individuals and corporate travelers, is enhancing its infrastructure to offer world-class service for executives and leisure travelers alike.
The expansion will increase the overall footprint of Million Air’s Austin facilities, which already feature a Texas ranch-style private terminal and a fully serviced Starbucks. The upgraded amenities will now include valet parking, dedicated check-in zones, and two luxury departure lounges designed to provide an exclusive experience for clients.

The new hangars and lounges will significantly increase Million Air’s operational capacity, allowing for more aircraft parking and service options during high-demand events, such as the Formula One Grand Prix and the University of Texas football games, which bring a surge of visitors to Austin.
According to CEO Roger Woolsey, the expansion will deliver a 104% boost to earnings upon completion in 2026, taking revenues from $4.7 million in 2023 to an estimated $16.2 million by 2030. Woolsey highlighted the strategic importance of providing travelers with premium, Texas-inspired hospitality in Austin, emphasizing that the first impression of the city begins at the airport.
